Libyan mediators visit deposed Mauritanian president

Deposed Mauritanian president Sidi Ould Cheikh Abdellahi met with Libyan mediators Thursday (February 12th) at his Lemden home, ANI reported. According to a statement released by the anti-coup National Front for Defence of Democracy (FNDD, Abdellahi told the delegation from Libya that he is open to any dialogue leading to a consensual way out of the crisis, but only under the condition that the military relinquish power. On Wednesday, the Libyan mediators met with Mauritanian junta leader Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz in Nouakchott.
