Mauritanian opposition FNDD rebuffs junta election plan

Mauritania's National Front for the Defence of Democracy (FNDD) rejected a plan by the junta on Tuesday (January 27th) to hold presidential elections on June 6th, ANI reported. The FNDD boycotted the junta's recent national conference aimed at setting a time table for elections.
