Algeria's 2008 baccalaureate exam results will be available Wednesday (July 9th) at midnight on the National Office of Examinations and Competitions (ONEC) website, http://www.onec.dz/. ONEC and cell phone service provider Mobilis have also partnered to offer scores via SMS. At a cost of 50 dinars, students will be able to get bac results on their mobile telephones. Subscribers must send a text message to 6262 with the student's registration number. Cybercafés are bracing for tonight's flood of students eager to check results online. "Last year," said one cybercafé owner in downtown Algiers, "we stayed open all night long".

In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful. Arab Maghreb countries are still very different in comparison with the Arab East. The simplest example is the language as we are still under the custody of the colonizer linguistically, culturally, in sports… When we talk we notice a mix up of the dialect with another language. It is a big catastrophe. How odd! We deride and devaluate the language of the Qur’an and of God of all the creatures. This is the mistake of the Arab rulers.

What do you think about a successful student in his studies from the primary to the secondary? But when he reaches the baccalaureate, he sat for the exam three times. Every time he builds new hopes to pass. Every time he is disappointed. His dreams are broken. I can say that now he is a person without hope. You will say that God exists. I believe in God. If this man is really brilliant, he must just build and achieve his dream again. You will tell me institutes and specialised universities. But I will reply to you. People have today erased determination from the hearts of the simple and poor people. Everything is achieved through favouritism. Everything is achieved with money. Thank you. Hello and Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I don't understand how, explain I took the baccalaureate exam in July 1992 and I just got my diploma for it written up this session from the office in Bejaia in July. Tell me how to explain this: I took the baccalaureate exam in June and I get my Bac in July???
