Salam alikum. I would like to thank everyone who prays for us. God willing, only one day is left for us. However, real stress comes after the exam. You keep waiting for announcing results. I advise everyone in the baccalaureate to travel after the national exam for one week to rest. Then they can think of the results board. This is because it is very hard to stress yourself before and after the exam. This is real sickness. Just an advice, everything is in the hands of God. If there is good for us in the baccalaureate, may God grant it to us, if it bears evil, may He keep it away. I want to say one thing. Those who did nothing in the exam then come out and expect to pass. They know from the beginning they will fail. They shouldn't lie to themselves. Ok, salam alikum. What we students are saying about the 2009 bac exam is that it is difficult, especially regarding major subject areas. For example, there was management and accounting. Accounting and mathematics were very difficult. Accounting was seven pages long. This is too much. And, no one had ever seen the mathematic functions there. This is to say: no one had ever worked with those formulae. We lost nine points there. With regards to economics, it was the same as mathematics, except that it had, in addition, general economics and statistics, which were way, way, way too hard. The students had never worked with statists, because first there is a problem of finding time and second they are difficult. The two branches of biological and physical sciences have, first of all, one point in common: mathematics. The two branches alone let you know that they will be difficult in terms of mathematics. In addition to that, many bac candidates have announced that chemistry is what has killed hundreds of physical-science students. Regarding mathematics, many are the students of mathematics who chose to get medical certification in order to gain access to the make-up exams since they had not done anything in mathematics and physics. The exam of maths and physics was very easy especially physics. I didn't expect it to be that easy. However, I was shocked in the English language and life and earth sciences. I study in the second year of the baccalaureate SVT branch. The exam was very tough compared to the national exam of the previous year. Don't say it is easy for those who haven't reached the baccalaureate yet because when you sat on the exam table, you should have studied the programme of the whole year. This year physics exam was moderate, maths were tough, sciences easy. However, everything depends on analysis (documents). May God assist us and put our papers in the hands of a good corrector. Hello- I am a Moroccan. I am a bac student. I took the bac exam in science this year, but it was not like we predicted it would be. I was shocked. First of all, the mathematics section was long and hard. The rest of it, which I really studied for, was like the history of geology!!! Thank God that the physics section was more at our level, even if it was not as easy as the 2008 exam. Almost all of the students have confirmed that this year’s bac exam was difficult. So, it becomes easier to accept when it the majority says the same thing.

The baccalaureate has no value especially in Morocco. Students are coerced to take extra courses otherwise they won’t get a good score in the exam. This makes students hire two or three tutors in one subject. Oh Lord this enormous. As to cheating phenomenon, it is even worse.

The baccalaureate exams this year were very tough. They were fabricated. They want a low passing rate and therefore a low employment rate. If you have money and of a rich family, you will pass and vice versa. As to marking exams, the marking teachers treats you as if you were his enemy. So please help students because many died because of the baccalaureate and injustices it entails.

This is due to the following reasons: weakness of the general standard of the education system compared to the sixties and seventies; weakness of the high percentage of teachers; weakness in the will to teach for teachers as a result of social and professional conditions, low salaries, problem of housing...Weak inspection and supervision during exams for many considerations including the social, regional and service...dim hope in the future as a result of the absence of government positions; low purchasing power of the majority of people and thus inability to crown success with celebrations and ceremonies as in the past.
