Among the Atlas Lions' notable returns are AS Nancy's Abdeslam Ouaddou, Mustapha Allaoui of Guingamp and Nabil Dirar of FC Bruges. Marouane Chamakh and Amine Rbati will miss the match for card accumulation, while Genoa's Houcine Kharja, Mounir El Hamdaoui of Dutch AZ Alkmar and Michael Bassir of French club Nancy are out with injuries. Newcomers from the local league include Abdelhakim Ait Boulmane from Moghreb Fes, Omar Najdi from Raja Casablanca, and Ahmad Damiani from Difaa El Jadida.
