Morocco's Kaouch provisionally suspended for doping10/08/2007
The International Federation of Athletics (IAAF) has provisionally suspended Moroccan athlete Adil Kaouch after he failed a drug test during the last Golden League meet in Rome, MAP quoted a Moroccan Royal Athletics Federation statement as saying on Thursday (August 9th). Kaouch won the men's 1,500m on July 13th. The statement said Kaouch continues his preparations for the World Championships in Osaka, confident in the final results of the test. The IAAF has carried out anti-doping tests on many Moroccan athletes since the beginning of the year, the statement said, and all these tests were negative. News Briefs |
