Algerian, Tunisian teams win African Champion League matches

Algeria's JS Kabylie beat Coton Sport of Cameroon 2-0 in an African Champions League third-round second-leg match on Friday (April 20th). A goal by Nassim Hamlaoui one minute into additional time handed the Algerians a 2-1 aggregate win to qualify for the final eight. Tunisia's Esperance is the second Maghreb team to qualify for the group stages of the African Champions League, despite their 0-0 draw with the Young Africans of Tanzania on Saturday in Mwanza. Esperance will advance with a 3-0 aggregate score. Tunisian team ES Sahel also made it through to the next stage, after beating Togo's Maranatha Fiokpo 3-0 on Saturday in Sousse. The first-leg game ended in a goalless draw.
