Tunisian Mohamed Haythem Abid ranked 29th in the latest Inter-collegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Fila rankings, released last week, La Presse reported. Abid climbed from 89th in the pre-season rankings after a successful start in January when he won the Sherwood Cup. During his second year at the University of California, Los Angeles, he became the second-best player on the team, behind German Benjamin Kohlleoffel. Abid is Tunisia's number one player and has been a member of the Tunisian Davis Cup Team for five years.
