Mauritanian voters renew one-third of Senate

Mauritanians began voting on Saturday (November 7th) to renew one-third of the 56-member senate. The upper house of the Mauritanian parliament has 53 senators representing constituencies in the country and 3 for Mauritanians residing abroad.
