EU delegation, Mauritania discuss Sahel security

European Union diplomats ended their assessment mission to Nouakchott on Saturday (November 7th), local and international press reported. The visit sought to "define a common approach in relation to issues of security and development in the Sahel; that is to say an approach that specifically targets 3 countries – Mauritania, Mali and Niger", Ambassador Carin Wall said after meeting with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Thursday.
