Spain charges 7 Maghreb men for aiding Madrid train bombers

Spain on Monday (November 2nd) indicted 5 Moroccans, one Algerian and one Tunisian for allegedly helping several Madrid train bombers, international press reported. According to Spanish National Court Judge Eloy Velasco, the men provided money, shelter, forged documents and other support to the perpetrators of the March 11th, 2004 attacks that claimed the lives of 191 people and wounded 1,800 others. The terror suspects were identified as Moroccans Zohair Khadiri, Taha Seghrouchni, Hammad Lahsini, Abdelkrim Lebchina and Abdelaziz El Merabit, Algerian Djilali Boussiri, and Nassreddine Ben Laidne Amri of Tunisia. Only one of the seven is in custody.
