Spain arrests 5 for helping Moroccan terror cell

Spanish security officers charged five Maghreb nationals Wednesday (June 1st) with helping to finance a terror cell plotting attacks in Morocco, MAP reported. The suspects, who owned two shops in the southern Spanish town of Algesiras, were allegedly engaged in drug trafficking and other illegal activities. Four Moroccans from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta were arraigned earlier this week for allegedly creating a Salafia Jihadia cell to destabilise Morocco with violent strikes against tourist locations and diplomatic headquarters.
