Algerian security services have identified the killers of Saudi Prince and poet Talal Al Rachid, who died in Djelfa ambush on November 27th, 2003, El Khabar reported on Sunday (January 11th). The investigation showed that the murder was perpetrated by Ibrahim El Okli, who led a 20-member terror cell operating in the mountains of Boukhil, in Djelfa province. El Okli was killed during a 2004 gun battle with army troops near Boughzoul, Médéa wilaya.
In other terror investigation news, Algerian authorities identified two men killed last Tuesday when they failed to stop their explosives-laden vehicle at a Tadmait security checkpoint as a young Bach Djerrah native, aged 20, and a 31-year-old Mostaganem man who had been jailed for providing logistical support to terrorists, La Dépêche de Kabylie reported on Monday (January 12th).
