Italy, Algeria discuss illegal immigration

Italy and Algeria agreed to hold a joint summit on ways to curb terrorism and illegal immigration, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini announced Tuesday (October 14th), after meeting with his Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci in Rome. The summit, which will take place in Algiers, will also address economic co-operation between the two countries.
