2009-10-27
Injured Algerian international and Wolfsburg midfielder Karim Ziani is expected to recover from a torn muscle in time to join the Greens for their African/World Cup qualifier against Egypt, APS reported on Monday (October 26th). Ziani will likely resume training in ten days, depending on the decision of his German club's medical staff.
In related news, Goal.com on Tuesday quoted defender Madjid Bougherra as saying that his knee injury was improving and that he would do everything possible to play against Egypt. "I don’t want to miss the match on November 14th," Bougherra told Al Heddaf.
