Injured Meghni to play in Egypt qualifier

Injured Algerian international and Lazio midfielder Mourad Meghni expects a full recovery before the November 14th African/World Cup qualifier against Egypt, Echorouk reported on Monday (October 10th). The Greens' powerhouse injured his thigh late last week during a training session with his Italian club.

Meghni- I am sure that we will qualify for the 2010 World Cup. God willing, we will win in Cairo, Algeria – 2, Egypt – 0. We remain the best in Africa. God willing, we will be the champions of Africa and – why not? – the champions of the world!
