Algerian fans eagerly await Egypt qualifier

As Algeria prepares to face Egypt for a crucial African/World Cup combined qualifier Sunday night (June 7th) at Tchaker stadium in Blida, fans have been busy festooning cars and shops across Algiers with banners supporting the Greens. "It's not the elections, it's football that unites all Algerians," Tout sur l'Algerie quoted one young man as saying on Sunday. The match will air live on both terrestrial channel ENTV and satellite channel Canal Algérie starting at 8:30 pm local time.
