World Petanque Championships: Morocco wins medal, Mauritania surprises France

Morocco's Abdel El Mankari defeated Senegal's Fara Ndiaye to win the precision shooting gold medal at the 44th World Petanque Championships Sunday (November 16th) in Dakar. France's team A won the world title. While it did not win, Mauritania made history as the only team to defeat France's team B, Senegal's Le Soleil reported.
