Algeria only Maghreb team to improve FIFA ranking

Algeria moved up 20 places to 56th in the world in the latest FIFA rankings published on Wednesday (October 8th), APA reported. After dropping in June to 103rd in the world, Algeria climbed more than 53 places in four months: 10 in July, 3 in August and 14 in September. FIFA ranked Tunisia 47th in October, down three positions from last month, while Morocco lost 6 places to rank 43rd in the world.
