JSK wins, CA ties in CAF Cup action Sunday

Algeria’s JS Kabylie defeated Sudanese squad El Merrikh 3-1 in an African Confederation Cup Group B match Sunday (October 5th) in Tizi-Ouzou. JSK will meet will meet current group leader Etoile du Sahel for their last group stage match.

In group A of the CAF Cup, Tunisia's Club Africain tied 1-1 with Egypt’s Haras Al Houdoud Sunday evening in Tunis. Defending champions CS Sfaxien lead the group with 10 points.

In related news, Tunisian football coach Umberto Coelho called ESS' Mejdi Mosrati to replace Youssef Mouihbi for the African/World Cup qualifier against Seychelles October 11th in Radès. Mouihbi was injured Sunday night during Club Africain's CAF Cup match against the Egyptian squad. Mosrati joined the national team for training on Monday morning, TAP reported.
