Maghreb paralympians win more medals in Beijing

Disabled athlete Mourad Idoudi set a new javelin toss world record at the Beijing Paralympics to win a gold medal on Monday (September 15th). Raoua Tlili snagged another gold medal for Tunisia in women's shot put, while Moroccan Leila El Garraa won the shot put bronze. Also on the 9th day of the Beijing Paralympics, Morocco's Abdelilah Mame claimed the gold in the men's 800m and Algerians Hocine Gherzouli and Zine Eddine Sekhri won bronzes in the men's shot put and the men's 800m race.
