FIFA cancels Morocco qualifier against Ethiopia

World football governing body FIFA cancelled the Africa/World Cup qualifier between Morocco and Ethiopia scheduled for September 7th in Addis Ababa, the international sporting press reported on Saturday (August 30th). FIFA suspended the Ethiopian federation a month ago over the dismissal of its management. Following the cancellation of the match, Morocco organised a friendly with Oman in Muscat on September 6th. This will be the first encounter between the two national teams.
