Moroccan wins steeplechase event at international track meet

Morocco's Abdelkader Hachlaf on Tuesday (July 1st) won the men's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 8:28.27 at the VIII European Athletics Festival in Poland, MAP reported. Fellow Moroccan Brahim Boulami has held the world record of 7:53.17 since 2002.
