Algerian volleyball team undefeated in Olympic qualifier

Algeria's volleyball team remained undefeated after crushing Thailand 3-0 on Sunday (June 1st), the second day of the FIVB Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo. Australia and Italy have also registered two consecutive victories. After an initial loss against Italy, Japan recovered their chances of qualifying by beating Iran 3-1 on Sunday. The tournament will qualify two teams for the Olympics in Beijing.
