Tunisian, Moroccan fencers qualify for Olympics

Moroccan fencer Issam Rami qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games after defeating Tunisian Chaouhar Maher during a qualifying fencing tournament held on Friday (April 25th) in Casablanca. Rami will be the only fencer representing Morocco in the summer Olympics. In the same tournament, Tunisian fencers Mohamed Samandi and Sarra Besbès also secured spots in Beijing, raising the number of qualifying Tunisian fencers to seven.
