CAF to introduce licenses for coaches in Africa
2008-04-24
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) plans to introduce special licenses for coaches desiring to work in Africa, BBC quoted CAF Development Director Abdel Moneim Hussein as saying on Wednesday (April 23rd).
Hussein explained that the new licensing system will require each coach to meet certain criteria and pass an exam in order to obtain a working permit. Hussein stressed the licenses will be required for all countries and all clubs on the continent. "Many coaches in Africa are now working haphazardly with their own experiences and talent but this is not right," he said.
