Moroccan boxers qualify for Beijing Olympics

Mohamed Amanissi won the super-heavyweight Olympic boxing qualifiers in Windhoek, Namibia over the weekend, bringing to ten the number of boxers Morocco will take to the Beijing games. Algeria will participate with eight boxers and Tunisia with five. The Windhoek competition was the second continental qualifying tournament after the January tournament held in Algiers. Africa will be represented by a total of 58 boxers from ten weight classes.
