Volleyball: Algerian men lose to Egypt in Olympic qualifier final

Algeria's men's volleyball team lost to Egypt in a tough five-set final match on Saturday (February 9th) at the Africa Olympic qualification final in Durban, South Africa. Egypt won the first two sets, and was leading by five points at the end of the third set, when the Algerians emerged and won that set and the fourth. The match was extended for a tie-breaking fifth set in which the Egyptians claimed victory and the only continental ticket to the Olympic Games in Beijing. Algeria took second place while Cameroon took third after defeating Tunisia 3-2 in sets.
