Morocco kicks off first division GNF1 championship

Morocco's first division GNF1 football championship opened over the weekend of September 22nd-23rd. Olympic Safi and Difaa El Jadida's opening game ended in goalless draw, while the Moghreb Fes vs. Hassania Agadir and Ittihad Khemisset vs. Kawkab Marrakech matches closed with the same result. Moghreb Tetouan scored a 4-0 win over Mouloudia Oujda, and an impressive 8-goal clash between Jeunesse Massira and CODM Meknes concluded with a 5-3 victory for Jeunesse Massira. In other matches, Wydad Casablanca defeated KAC Kenitra 3-0, FAR Rabat beat FUS Rabat 1-0 and Olympique Khouribga tied Raja Casablanca 1-1.
