Morocco wins Jeddah International Skydiving Championship

Morocco's team won events in both formation and accuracy landing at the 5th Jeddah International Skydiving Championship, held March 22nd-29th. On Thursday, Moroccan skydivers beat out Jordan's A team and Bahrain to nab first place in the accuracy landing team event, as well as 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th places. Earlier this week, the Moroccan team swept the entire formation event. The tournament, dubbed the "Championship of Sincerity" gathered more than 230 skydivers from around the world, including Morocco, Algeria and Libya. Participants are competing for the Prince Abdulmajeed ibn Abdul Aziz Cup. (Arab News)
