Moroccan coach calls players for CAN qualifier against Zimbabwe

2007-03-15

[File] Fakhir

Moroccan national coach Mohammed Fakhir said Wednesday (March 14th) that he has decided to include midfielders Adil Ramzi and Gharib Amzine in the 21-man squad for the African Nations Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe. Amzine, who plays for French team Troyes, returns to the squad after a five-year absence, while Holland-based Ramzi has not been tapped since 2003. The qualifier match will be held on March 25th in Harare.

Also Wednesday, Tunisia's national selector Roger Lemerre announced the line-up for the CAN qualifier versus Seychelles, scheduled for March 24th in Victoria. Lemerre has called 22 players, including 13 current team members. (BBC, Reuters, TAP, La Presse)

Mohamed Fakhir isn't a coach

االحسين كباص Posted 2007-06-01

Fakhir has to be replaced, always Zaki

العمراني عبد الصمد Posted 2007-06-04

Always Badou Zaki

حنان Posted 2007-07-05

I don't like this new coach, we want Badou Zaki, Zaki and his sons, no team has beaten them. Long live the Moroccan national team, long live Zaki, this is Hanane from Fes.

هشام احمد Posted 2007-07-06

Always Fakhir.

نورة Posted 2007-10-08

I want a Moroccan coach as he will stick up for his country. I like Marouane Chamakh, he's the best player in the national team.

أسامة Posted 2007-10-20

We want badou Zaki and the team he has gathered.

حسناء Posted 2007-10-20

I love Badou Zaki and my father loves him so much.

حسناء محاسن Posted 2007-10-21

Please Zaki call Omar Najdi to the Kaoukab of Marrakech, please.

عبد الرحيم Posted 2007-10-23

I like all national coaches, but especially Zaki.

عبد الله Posted 2007-11-12

We hope from all our hearts that Badou Zaki returns to the national team.

هشام بومان ديما husa Posted 2007-11-16

I support Henry Michel, he has many talents. I address all my respects to the officials of Al Hassaniya, I tell them to call Fakhir as a coach.

خديجة النسيمي Posted 2007-11-17

I love Badou Zaki but I also love Marouane Chamakh and Youssef Haji.

oumoucha Posted 2007-11-21

I don't like Fakhir, but I'm proud of Badou Zaki who is the symbol of our country, and here we wait for your role Henry Michel.

كوثر Posted 2007-11-22

I hope from the bottom of my heart the return of Badou Zaki to lead the national team and that Zairi recovers his previous performance so that the national team reaches a honourable rank in the coming African Cup.

نعيم Posted 2007-11-23

If Henry Michel doesn't bring the African Cup, he should go away. Because he has good players even better than those who were at the African Cup 2004 and they have experience in the African Cup.

رضوان اسلمان Posted 2007-11-25

I hope that the Moroccan national teams will win the African Cup of Nations 2008.

كمال Posted 2007-12-05

Henry Michel isn't a coach to the level because when he led the national team in 98 in the African Cup he couldn't go as far as the second round, and in the world cup in France, he didn't go beyond the first round even if the players were excellent. This shows that he's not a coach to the level.

اما تويسيت Posted 2007-12-09

Badou Zaki forever, I wish from my heart that Badou Zaki would come back to lead the national team, to see again the performance of Jawad Zairi like before and the national team reaches a honourable rank in the next African Cup.

حكيم احمد Posted 2007-12-16

The goalie Nadir Myaghri isn't to the level of the old and great team Wydad Casablanca and the national team. He's not a great goalie. He's a very small goalie.

عبدالكريم Posted 2007-12-24

Morocco will win the African Cup 2008.

adil Posted 2007-12-31

I hope that Jawad Zairi will participate with the national team.

محمد الحمداني Posted 2008-01-01

Badou Zaki is a coach who deserves respect and consideration. Mohamed Fakhir is a mediocre coach who deserves thanks because he made the national team qualify to the African Cup 2008. Henry Michel is a very good coach because he stood in the face of the world champion France, he deserves ecnouragement and trust. I trust the Moroccan national team and hope that they will come back from Ghana holding the African Cup. We wait for them...with wishes of success to the national team. A lion like them and with them forever.

idder Posted 2008-01-02

About Nadir Lamyaghri, he's good at nothing but just training Bouchaib Lambarki forever.

T.C.S.10 Posted 2008-01-02

I hope from my heart if I have one that the national team will fall and then I laugh with my friends as we did in 2006.

^soufiane oualaid Posted 2008-01-03

Morocco is always with Henry Michel

الطائ المصطفى Posted 2008-01-04

To the French coach, you have to win the African Cup because you have very good elements and you're a very good coach. If you don't win, you have to leave, and your substitute will be the respectable coach Mr Badou Zaki.

زهير ديما rca Posted 2008-01-05

I love Badou Zaki, I hope that he will return to the lions of Atlas. I love Soufiane Alloudi so much because he's a player who have a promising future inchallah.

skitiwi Posted 2008-01-06

Badou Zaki forever

alwazani i.z.k Posted 2008-01-21

Zaki forever because without him there’s no national team. Thank you for Zaki 2004 and 2010 you will come back to us. Zaki forever!

كوثر .ع Posted 2008-01-25

Salam alaikoum. I would like to say to my brothers who oppose the coach Henri Michel, we're Moroccans and shouldn't look at the nationality or origin of the coach. We should rather look at his performance. The coach Henry Michel is now going on the right path but there were some mistakes in the game of the lions against Guinea. They were rectified at the beginning of the second half by entering Marwan, Bouchayb and Abocharwan. In my opinion, they should be steady and achieve victory against Ghana on Monday to go to the second round. I wish victory to the Lions and return to the Moroccan people namely, and I wish quick recovery to the striker Soufiane Alloudi and hope that the Moroccan team will present a match to the required level; with wishes of success inchallah. Salam.

مهدي Posted 2008-01-25

I love Zaki very much because he led the Moroccan national team to the finals of Africa 2006. May God grant him a lot of success. My name is Mehdi Agnaou from Morocco. I love Zaki.

مهدي Posted 2008-01-25

I love Zaki. Mehdi Agnaou.

نهنه Posted 2008-01-25

yassine Posted 2008-01-27

I want the lions to win the CAN.

سميرة من المحمدية Posted 2008-01-28

Salam alaikoum. I will say it without fear. It’s not just Henri Michel who should leave- the whole federation should change! We need competent young people, we should give them an opportunity because present elements have ruined us. About Zaki, he’s a man and up to his word if he says it. Zaki forever.

FANTOME_D_ICI Posted 2008-01-29

Zaki is the best coach for our team!

وفاء Posted 2008-01-29

You're very great

khalid ainas Posted 2008-01-31

The best coach to lead the Atlas Lions was Badou Zaki, and the most lamentable coaches to lead them have been Ahmed Fakhir and Michel. They prepared our lions for an early return from Egypt and Ghana. But Zaki succeeded in continuing with the Lions to the finals against Tunisia in 2004. Now the return of Zaki is necessary because he is the only one capable of taming the lions, because he’s the only one who can make Moroccans happy by preparing for the coming title of the African Cup. Thank you.

سعاد Posted 2008-01-31

Badou Zaki should train the national team because the French coach sells matches, I heard him with my own ears.

hamid Posted 2008-02-11

Bado Zaki is a distinct coach for the Moroccan national team.

محب لبادو الزكي Posted 2008-02-12

From all articles written in this corner, I noticed something significant and important that the Moroccan public is most of the time right namely in the field of football and that the federation is always wrong in its choice. Here I wonder whether members of the office of this federation aren’t part of the Moroccan public or their victory lies in the defeat of the national team and preventing this nation from a football smile, and make this nations lose its trust in itself. Otherwise, why do they refuse to offer an opportunity to Moroccan coaches as did Egypt, whose coach I respect highly and who won the African Cup of Nations two times successively. For example, Germany trusted Beckenbauer as a player and he won the world cup and then as coach and won the world cup and supported the organisation of the world cup by Germany and succeeded in that. While it is the opposite for us, the federation makes us believe that we are weak even if we are better than Egypt, with the acknowledgement of Egypt, and as evidence to this, the Egyptian Al Ahram daily ranked Badou Zaki as the best coach in Africa…I’m sorry for being long.

yassin ban dada Posted 2008-02-16

I love Badou Zaki. He i9s the best coach for Morocco and he has Moroccan citizenship ok.

raja Posted 2008-02-29

I want Badou, and for the players I want Aloudi, Haji, Chemakh, Abou Cherwan, Safri, Lmokhtari and remove Badr Alkadouri and Houssin Kharja. Long live Morocco and long live Zaki.

khalid en nador Posted 2008-03-04

I personally like Zaki. I hope that he starts his career anew with the Moroccan national team so that we forget what happened in Ghana and to look ahead. Oh Lord we hope that Zaki be one of the winners.

lgddqq Posted 2008-03-07

dima k.a.c.m Posted 2008-03-09

العلمي محمد Posted 2008-03-28

Zaki is the best coach for our team! Zaki.

yassin Posted 2008-04-12

There is no doubt that Zaki is a very good coach, but as long as everyone interferes in the business of the coach, the national team will not succeed in achieving any result.

oussama samsaoui Posted 2008-04-21

Salam to everyone who is proud and concerned about the Moroccan national team. I am Oussama Samsaoui, a young man, I am 16. I live in Spain and play in a club there. Now I am speaking on behalf of all the Moroccan community living in Spain and in the name of every young man like me who plays in its clubs and whose dream is to carry out the recommendation of Mr Talal Al Karkouri which says that everyone who plays in a club must defend the Moroccan national jersey. Now I say to Mr Badou Zaki that not just Moroccans in Spain, but Moroccans all over the world and even your chasers who don’t wish the good of the national team, know that you are the only one who can bring joy to the national team and millions of Moroccans and boost the Moroccan national team. My greatest and sole dream like all the faithful players on the national team is to be one of the sons of Badou Zaki and one of the Atlas Lions. These words are addressed to Mr Badou Zaki (Mr Zaki thank you very much for everything you did and which no one can do in such a short time for the Moroccan national team). Salam alikoum.

oussama samsaoui Posted 2008-04-21

Peace and prayers of God upon the prophet. Every shepherd is responsible for his herd and the best shepherd for the Moroccan national team is El Senor Badou Zaki. I don’t understand why everyone opposes him.

I want Badou Zaki.
