Morocco to meet Burkina Faso on Wednesday

The Moroccan Royal Football Federation has confirmed that the Morocco-Burkina Faso friendly match, an important part of both teams' preparation for the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, will take place on Wednesday (16 August). The team will include 17 members currently playing for Gulf and European clubs. The Moroccan attack will be led by Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh, Youssef Hadji of Rennes and Jawad Zaïri from Sochaux. In the first qualifier, Morocco will face Malawi on 2 September in Rabat. (AFP)
