The Tunisian postal service is participating in the 2006 World Indoor Labour Volleyball Championship, that is taking place from Monday (22 May) through Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The competition, organised by the Brasilian Social Service for Industry (Sesi) and the International Labour Sports Confederation (CSIT) brought together over 400 men and women from 13 countries.
According to Moncef Bartegi, head of the Tunisian delegation, the aim of the competition is to bring together workers from various countries and exchange cultural and sports experiences. "It is a meeting between countries, but above all, it is an official Sesi championship," said Bartegi, who is also the African ambassador in the CSIT. (ANBA)
