Peterhansel, Villiers leading overall standings after Tunisian rally's fifth stage

Volkswagen driver Giniel de Villiers finished second in the Optic 2000 Rally of Tunisia's fifth stage from El Borma to Ksar Ghilane on Saturday (15 April) and maintained second position in the overall standings. Ford Buggy driver Jean-Louis Schlesser recorded the fastest time in the 298km-race, while overall leader Stéphane Peterhansel (Mitsubishi) was third. On Friday, the famous double loop of El Borma was dominated by Stéphane Peterhansel. The sixth and penultimate stage runs along a 276km- loop through the dunes around Ksar Ghilane on Monday.
