Algerian, Tunisian Under-21 Football Teams Start Play in Mediterranean Games

The 2005 Mediterranean Games officially started Friday (24 June) with the opening ceremony at the Stadium of the Mediterranean Games in Almeria, but the under-21 football teams of Tunisia and Algeria played to a 2-2 tie on Thursday (23 June). The two teams are now co-leaders of Group C with one point each. (Almeria 2005 Official Website)
