Youssouf Hadji is joining Rennes on a four-year deal after leaving relegated Bastia. The 25-year-old Moroccan midfielder did not want to play in the French second league. Laszlo Boloni's Rennes team finished fourth in League 1 last season, meaning Hadji may have a chance to play in the UEFA Cup. The player described his move as an "interesting challenge."
