Tunisian Karate Team Gets Nine Medals at Carthage Open

The Tunisian team won one gold medal, two silvers and six bronzes on the first day of the Carthage Open Karate Tournament at El Menzah Sport Hall. Mohamed Jomaa, Fares Dakhil, Zied Ben Afia, Messaoud Yahia, and Iskander Hadhri were the male medallists -- while Najwa Toujani, Henda Hsine, Boutheina Hasnaoui, and Rafika Dakhlaoui were the female medallists. Algeria, Germany, Egypt, Spain, France, Holland, Luxembourg, Morocco, and Tunisia are among the nations competing. (Le Temps)
