FIFA: Morocco on their Way to Top of African Group 5
2005-02-07
Morocco could go to the top of African group 5 if they win against Kenya in their rescheduled World Cup qualifier in Rabat on Wednesday (9 February). The match was postponed last year after Kenya was banned from FIFA competitions due to government interference in the country's football leagues.
Morocco is two points behind group leaders Guinea, with six points. Wednesday's (9 February) match is the only World Cup qualifier in Africa this month. A full programme of qualifying matches will be played at the end of March. (FIFA World Cup)
