Road Race Championships in Algiers

Algeria dominated the Arab Road Race Championships on Friday (17 December) in Algiers. Runners from eight countries participated in the event. Algerian Fatiha Hanika finished first in the women's 4.4km race, followed by compatriot Sabrina Bouden and Tunisian Ahlam Merdassi. Qatar's Karim Nacer Chams won the title in the men's 9.4km race, followed by Algerians Tayeb Filali and Samir Meslem. (El Moujahid)
