Tunisian Youngsters to Participate in Sailing Championship

Three young Tunisian sailors -- Youssef Akrout, Mariem Zribi and Yesmine Sais -- led by national sailing coach Anis Haddad, will participate in the 5th Optimists Class Euromed Championship starting Friday (17 December) in Malta. Organized under the auspices of the Malta Sailing Federation, the five-day event consists of 90 male and female sailors from 11 countries ranging in age from eight to 15.
The sailing championship gives the three Tunisian representatives an opportunity to meet high level competitors from Sweden, Ireland, Bulgaria, Italy and Germany. (Times of Malta, La Presse)
