Moroccan Ballouchy Earns Second All-America Award

Santa Clara University men's soccer midfielder Medhi Ballouchy earned his second All-America honour of 2004 on Thursday (16 December) when he was named to College Soccer News' All-America Second Team. Earlier this week, the player was selected to the NSCAA/Adidas All-America Third Team. In only his first year with the program, Ballouchy became one of the university's main offensive weapons.

Ballouchy earned a number of awards throughout the season

The Casablanca native paced the Broncos with 15 points on the season. He also was tops on the team and second in the conference with nine assists. A member of the All-West Coast Conference (WCC) First Team, Ballouchy earned a number of awards throughout the season, including WCC Player of the Month honours for September. He was also the only WCC player to be named to the NCSAA/Adidas All-Far West Region first or second teams. (Santa Clara University)
