Only Four Teams Participate in African Handball Championship
2004-12-13
The 26th African Handball Championship began with less than expected participation. Only four teams -- Mouloudia and US Biskra of Algeria, Minuh of Cameroon and Rabita of Casablanca -- participated in the official opening on Saturday (11 December). A fifth team, Roseti of Nigeria, announced at a Calablanca press conference it had not yet arrived in Morocco. The Nigerians were expected to arrive on opening day via Italy. (Assabah)
