Tunisia Qualifies for the Quarter-Finals of the World Sevens Series

Tunisia and Kenya were surprise qualifiers for the quarter-finals of the World Sevens Series rugby tournament after the group phase in George, South Africa, on Friday (10 December). Host South Africa, favourite New Zealand, England, Fiji, Argentina and Samoa completed the line-up for the Premier Cup prize. Top competitors of the 15-a-side version of the sport who lost were France, Tunisia, Portugal and Australia. The Tunisian team lost 31-0 to Samoa in Saturday’s (11 December) quarter-final game.
