Moroccan Team Finishes Third in Pan Arab Golf Championship

Defending champion Morocco finished in 3rd place with 911 strokes, not far behind Bahrain (880) and Lebanon (901) in the Batelco-sponsored 25th Pan Arab Golf Championship in Bahrain. The Tunisian team (942) ended in 5th place. The best score for the front nine holes overall was recorded by Morocco's Makroune with a two-under par 34 while Tunisia's Hassine Wellani finished at par. Wellani recorded the best net score with 67. (Gulf Daily News)
