Algerian Tourism Minister Mohamed Seghir Kara announced on Sunday (28 November) the Paris-Dakar rally might traverse Algeria in 2006. During a television interview, the minister said negotiations are taking place with organisers to bring the event to Algeria. An organising committee delegation is expected in Algiers on 14 December.
