Algeria Wins Medals in Table Tennis Championship

Algerian table tennis players won three silver and three bronze medals at the African Table Tennis Championship in Mauritius, the Algerian Table Tennis Federation announced on Saturday (27 November). In the men's and women's team event, Algerians finished runners-up. The Algerian women doubles team of Leila Boucetta and Asma Menaifi won Algeria's third silver medal. Hakim Djaziari and Asma Menaifi won the bronze medal in mixed doubles, while Sofiane Boudjadja and Fateh Ourahmoune medalled in men's doubles. Boudjadja also took home a medal in men's singles. (APS)
