Algeria's national football team takes on Senegal in a friendly match Wednesday (17 November) at Mayol stadium in Toulon, France. Coach Ali Fergani's team faces a tough competitor in the "Lions of the Teranga", who easily beat Liberia by 3-0 in Monrovia during round five of the combined 2006 World Cup and CAN preliminary rounds. Ahead of their decisive match against Rwanda next March, Algeria will attempt to make a good show against the Senegalese. (Le Quotidien)

Sorry, I will begin my comment with a question. Why does the national team lose even against weak teams? Are there financial or personal causes, or do they play for the flag or for money?
