Sports Initiative Launched in Algeria

The Algerian Youth and Sports Ministry is launching a new policy to ensure better Algerian sports performance in international competitions. To reach this goal, the government created a new sports management organisation. The organisation's director, Kamel Guemar, said his plan includes stopping the use of performance enhancing drugs and establishing a system to select the best athletes. (Liberte)
