Khemis-Miliana University Centre held an open study event from 18-19 April to discuss the topic "Solar Energy and its Applications." The two-day event included a number of conferences and an exhibition that presented some of solar energy's applications. Among the items presented were a solar-powered fresh water fountain, a water heater, a lamp, and a mini-station for pumping. (albawaba.com)

In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful. Your brother in God Yacine from Ghardaia. I want to study solar energy to make it my profession God willing in the future. So please guide me if possible to specialized institutes in teaching solar energy. Thank you very much. Sincerely yours.

I want to know where solar energy is taught in Algeria so that we can study it and use to avoid continuous breakdowns of electricity in the Southwest of Algeria especially in summer. I also want to set up one at home first to meet our needs.
