Reporters Without Borders Slam Tunisian Trial

Reporters Without Borders condemned the trial in which a Tunisian lawyer was found guilty of posting "false news" on the internet and urged democratic nations to boycott the World Summit on the Information Society in Tunis in November unless Tunisia ended its internet crackdown and released him.
Mohammed Abbu was sentenced late last week to three years and six months in prison the international press freedom organization said. (albawaba.com)
